FOR LOVES AND LOVERS
by... ...R. D. Peters
I have pondered and thought upon those things, That haunt most mortal souls in their hell that brings, The soul to rest at length, in death, with terror lent. For He, who with lightened spirit, Walks so silently that none can hear it, Who has about Him tied the Night, His eternal blackened bride. Yet He who rides upon Pallid steed, Has to loves and lovers a most hideous deed, And ends the beginning, in the middle, of the rapture the heart is spinning.
